Technical components like sliding hinges are usually treated as invisible workhorses — designed purely to function, not to impress. In this internal R&D project, we set out to challenge that logic. We wanted to see if an everyday, purely practical object could be elevated using the same cinematic lighting, dynamic motion, and premium aesthetic typically reserved for luxury watches or automotive design. The result proves that with the right direction, even the most functional detail can become a visual hero.
